Oral pathology
Oral pathology and medicine are concerned with all diseases and disorders that affect the oral cavity. Contrary to common belief, dentistry treats the whole mouth and not only teeth.
In our practice, all routine appointments include an examination of the tissues and mucosa of the oral cavity. We also perform specialist examinations of teeth, mucosa and gingiva injuries and diseases.
Moreover incisional and excisional biopsies are regularly performed to carry out pathological-anatomical analysis of lesions and screening of precancerous lesions.
